Mr. Abdul Haque is the Managing Director of Haq’s Bay Automobiles Limited and the Proprietor of Haq’s Bay Service Center and Haq’s Bay CNG Conversion Works. He is the Honorary Consul, Consulate of the Republic of Djibouti in Bangladesh. He was recognized as a Commercially Important Person (CIP) for the year 2011.

Mr. Haque is a Director of Asia Pacific General Insurance Co. Limited; Director of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI); Chairman of the Standing Committee on Budget, Customs Duties, VAT, Taxes & Tariff, FBCCI; Advisor of Japan Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Chairman of Projukti Peeth  (Socio Economic Development Centre); Chairman of Munshi Jinnat Ali Welfare Trust; Founding Member of the Independent University, Bangladesh; and Founding Chairman of Saher Banu Ideal School, Falkamuri.

His previous positions include- Member, Advisory Board, Strategic Transport Plan for Dhaka (STP); Board Member, Bangladesh Road Transports Authority (BRTA); Director, Janata Bank Limited; Director, Teletalk Bangladesh Limited; Executive Member, SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Co-Chairman, Japan Bangladesh Committee of Commercial and Economic Co-operation; and President, Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association.
